10/12/2009 @ 08:14:23 PM: The student should have got up and left the classroom to answer the phone. The T/A or Professor was just as wrong to throw the cell phone on the floor. Is that how we resolve disagreements at that University level? Perhaps asking the student to take the call out in the hall, puitting the cell phone on vibrate only and asking the student to see the Professor after class might have been a better example of how to resolve problems at University level education. |
